Homeopathy Code of Ethics

Code of Ethics and Practice of the Homeopathic Medical Association (U.K.)

Section 3 is particularly interesting:

3. HOMEOPATHIC TREATMENT AND RELATIONSHIPS WITH PATIENTS.

3.1. All Members must maintain exemplary standards of professional conduct.

3.2. Courtesy, patience and understanding should be shown to patients and their families at all times.

3.3. The patient’s welfare must be paramount at all times. Members should be aware of the limits of their competence and be ready to refer the patient for further investigation when necessary.

3.4. Members should not discourage patients from seeking other forms of treatment that may be appropriate.

3.5. A patient showing signs and symptoms of an underlying pathological condition should be advised to seek a medical diagnosis.
